#252639 Want my first machine, need help to get it ....

Posted by thunderstorm on 13 June 2013 - 01:49 PM in Real Fruit Machines

That's the thing - I worked behind a bar from 1995 to 2012 and loved it when the engineers visited for various reasons. I used to poke my head in the machine with him to find out the workings etc, hopper dump, sound test, lamp test etc.

Can someone assist me in buying a machine that works and needs some small maintenance that i can do.

It looks like I will be permanently home sick for the rest of my life and find it hard to walk so any help would be most appreciated.

#252634 Want my first machine, need help to get it ....

Posted by thunderstorm on 13 June 2013 - 12:22 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Continuing this thread....... http://www.fruit-emu...-first-machine/

And hello to you all for my first proper post for a very long time, I won't go into detail why but today i am feeling OK.

What with being off work for long periods sick I am getting very bored at home and want something to occupy my mind etc and as you know I love gambling - that's why I registered here 3 years ago!

Recently I registered on a certain bingo site ( Tom and his bola) and put lots of money through without any success....

Yes I am very very stupid and you can call me any name you want and I wont mind at all - it may put some sense into me so please go ahead.....

But last night I actually won a full house on the bingo90 and suddenly my balance went up to £309.45

Today I withdrew that money from the site, into my paypal account which I registered my account to.

I have now closed my account, I will have just over £300 in my paypal account tomorrow.

This is where you all come in.

I am looking for a working, and I must stress working, fruit machine of my own that I can have delivered (because I cannot drive, well I got a driving licence but got no car) to my home.

I am a bit of a numpty as far as checking it over etc even though i used to work in a club with machines with big jackpots but I was always stood behind the bar!

I am happy to get a machine which needs a little work that I could do but who knows what I am capable of doing?

Back to the point... Did I start? No....

I would like to buy a £35 or £70 jp machine, or even a club machine which is cheap(ish) under £100 where I can pay with paypal but I need help to make sure I am not being ripped off and would need much assistance from you guys.

I am very scared of buying such things from ebay....

#251621 Triple 7 Red Hot Casino Cruise Win

Posted by thunderstorm on 20 May 2013 - 02:55 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Very nice win there.

Whenever I go on holiday I always seem to pick the wrong machine and someone next to me goes and wins a feckin ton of money with their first few quid.

That's just my luck all over full stop !

#250125 Fruit-Emu Outages

Posted by thunderstorm on 13 April 2013 - 07:31 PM in I Found a Problem

I get server not found occasionally but I just hold tight and keep trying.

After a few tries I get back on so I do not worry about it :)

#249989 Vitamin Deficiency

Posted by thunderstorm on 10 April 2013 - 05:20 PM in Any Topic Chat

I think it is a part of our 'condition' mate... it is one of the consequences of the brain through dementia.

I have been advised to eat more fruit and vegetables and take those vitamin supplements as an 'additional' therapy, but not had to have interventional treatment.

Hopefully the injections will do the trick over the period of time... The recovery rate I suppose is up to the individual and how they respond to the injections... but I hope it's quick for you mate to recover. :)

Yes m8 how silly that I didn't even realise.

I didn't even think of that but a bit of Google searching told me the full story.

It looks like it will be a long recovery for me with how long I left it before doing anything about it but that's my own stupid fault.

Another lesson learned.

#249980 Vitamin Deficiency

Posted by thunderstorm on 10 April 2013 - 03:42 PM in Any Topic Chat

Hi all,

For weeks and weeks I have had a numb left foot and limping about. This spread to my knee and arm last week and I was starting to get run down by the pain.

I went to the doctor on Monday but he could not come up with a solution so he took some blood tests.

I got a text from the surgery just after 9 this morning telling me I have a bad case of vitamin deficiency.

I got to go for a series of injections now.

Has anyone ever had this before? how long does it take for things to get back to normal?

#245574 Rof Sim Grand Slam 2000

Posted by thunderstorm on 05 January 2013 - 09:17 PM in Real Fruit Machines

Hi,

It would seem that you was accidentally sent a BETA version of that game, as I cannot get it to do it at all on the v1.0 i have!

Do you know what you did?

I have sent the version I have to see if you can replicate it.

Steve

Hi steve,

I have the new version but not had time to test it yet..

On the first one you sent me all I did was press the £4 stake button once then pressed auto spin and then the £4 stake again.

#245530 Rof Sim Grand Slam 2000

Posted by thunderstorm on 04 January 2013 - 09:51 PM in Real Fruit Machines

LOL!!

That is brilliant. I suppose you just need to flag this up to ROF so they can work on a fix for it :D

Wouldn't be too bad if it did an emptier like that old Global machine (forgotten which one!) that pays out down to £0 or so and then goes back to £999 and empties itself.

Wonder how long it is before machines start to offer a loan facility so you get a minus figure like you had there? Bell Fruit in association with Wonga.com :D

Hey Thunderstorm that would be scary in live play.

I agree with Bencrest not found a single bug on £70 Bullion Bars. You should get a job on the Reelsoffun site as a playtester.

LOL at you both, I was a BETA tester on the Reels Of Fun Site for a while and found a bug in their Megaslot 500 which they had to update, so it now looks like they will need to update this sim also because of my bug find on this one!

I have notified them by email tonight about it.

#245524 Rof Sim Grand Slam 2000

Posted by thunderstorm on 04 January 2013 - 07:53 PM in Real Fruit Machines

I got the Grand Slam 2000 sim from Reels Of Fun yesterday and started playing it tonight.

After £192 in I got a win and started on the top reels on £4 stake., then something really strange happened once I got down to £0......

A short video here of what it did on me, I'm so glad real fruities don't do this.....

It is something I have never encountered before  :biglaugh:

#245173 Gerry Anderson - R.i.p.

Posted by thunderstorm on 27 December 2012 - 10:53 PM in General FME Discussion

It was such a shame to hear this news late yesterday afternoon :(

I grew up with all his shows.

What he and his wife did for childrens TV in those days were top of the class shows for the era they were done in.

Top quality explosions etc made the shows seem before ahead of time.

I have got the complete series of Captain Scarlet on DVD and some of the Thunderbirds ones also, I still watch a few now and again and until now you probably never gave it a thought on how it was brialliantly made.

R.I.P Gerry, a pioneer in his time.
