I own a Barcrest Revolution set on 30p/£25 Jackpot

I own the same as danik, a Barcrest Revolution £25jp 30p- Play 96% payout. Had it a while though now looking to sell it, i want a Oooh Aah Dracula Club machine !

ok my bad it seems to work now that i am runnign as an administarator.

yes i got to the screen where you enter a user/password so i entered my user/pass for this site but then after a few seconds i get "Can not initilize digital sound system (error code 14)" and it closes automatically

and me "Runtime Errror 75" Path File/Access Error - Vista 32Bit

I played a £70 DOND (cant remember which one), because some bloke had been on it for a while and must have put about £50 quid through, anyways £300 later still no sign of a jackpot, i have never touched a DOND since they are pure evil.

Also on a 3 way sit down machine (cant think of the name now but when you get a board it says ""player 1/2/3...its you!" Set on 25p/£25jp...250 in before i got on the board and it gave me £2 and threw me off!!

OK, i was just offering any info on the subject that i could hoping it would help, i wasn't suggesting i was right/you were not etc, just throwing "fraghore" a couple suggestions to try out.

Try closing all the doors and let the error sound, the alarm will continue for a moment or two..and then it should go silent.

 

Keep waiting until the error clears from the display

 

When it has cleared pop a coin in and that should sort out the issue - i believe if you dont
put a coin in the error will keep coming back everytime you open and close the doors.

In my scorpion 4 manual i have here STRIM19 - ACTION to take is - Check Note Acceptor, so yeah what i said may not work depending on what machine you have, if the alarm does not stop using the method i wrote above it might be something to do with the acceptor but I'm not sure what, im no expert with note acceptors!

thanks for this release, i have got it to load but i have the same issue as banditboy, i can only see the top half of teh machien and cant figure out how to resize it..

I am having some real issues now, basically after the initial log in screen has laoded all that i get is a very small box (as if i have cropped the program down to the size of a penny) and there is an x button to close it & the word libaries,so i figured i'll uninstall amber and reinstall but once reinstalled the same thing happens, so i guess my question is how to you fully uninstall it (as it doesnt appear to have an uninstaller and is not shown in program files)

p.s i tried to add a print screen but the site came up with some error message !"

did you ever manage to get hold of the manual mate? i have aquired the same club machine i think you have and have a manual. Although as i might try to sell it to make quick buck i wont have the manual for long so here goes..

Ah ok thanks for the replies, well i found the thread on DADS earlier and downloaded version 25 of amber, when running the exe file from winrar i got "Runtime error 438 - object doesnt support the property or method", i tried version23 too and got the same message. I even downloaded the latest version of winzip and ran the exe with that instead and it gave me the exact same message!

Hey peeps, i finally got around to trying your loayout, i used to love this game, i have read the info on how to get the sound to work but still cannot find the bloody "Current Tech" button in "options". I have the latest version of amber and i ran it as administator, i appreciate Bencrests thumbnail of where the "serial ver" button appears, any chance of a thumbnail for the "current tech" button for me im a bit of a thicko lol.

Also i read someone say Crystal Games cant be emulated for MFME but i have Treasure Quest on MFME and im sure thats a Crystal game....

i'd love to see monty £25 emulated, shall i email the guy selling it asking for some images? I dont really what quality images need to be as ive never done a layout, so if someone lets me know ill send the guy a message and with a bit of luck he can take some snaps

Anyway off the top of my head worst machines (for gameplay/profit) for me include:

 

1st one -  i cant remember the name but it was made by "Extreme" and was in the pubs maybe 5 years ago now. i believe and was a £25 jackie and was complete bollocks...sorry cant think of the name. lol.

Doctors n Nurses

Dosh n Pecks (Barcrest) - A clone of Revolution/Golden Dragon and Battle Axe, except this clone was a real bugger for killing you on 2/11 gambles even when full.

High Flyer/Superstar - As Zoltar explained thats why they were garbage.

 

Anyting made by vivid- All just too obvious, if the first board offers lets say £3 then kills you, you put another £3-£4 in and the  following board will offer £4-£5  and so on

 

And finally almost all £70 jackpot machines, i can only think of a couple that ive enjoyed playing  - Barcrest's Alien for one, and Its AMAZING aint too bad for gameplay.

I am unable to get Aladdins Cave working , runnung Amber as admin...have tried to load 3/4 of teh profiles. I do not get a runtime error but much like the thumbnail above the screen in Amber just stays black.

Yeah i am assuming the image is more than a standard image because of the sizes you mentioned, it sounds great and im sure when the day comes when newer MPU6 tech machines can be emulated the sounds would be very helpful. thank you,.

As for how to upload ive never actually upoaded anything lol so hopefull someone can point you in the right direction
