Aye..with that on top of my TV package and phone line rental as well as call charges it would be close to the £100 mark every month.

LOL..this thread is ancient @ cloud999 who was that tosser ?? .. thinking it was amazing to be going from 10mb to 20mb and 50mb was a pipedream.

Yeah im the same Rob...still waiting on my upload speed to go from 1mb to 3mb im on 30mb now..the 50mb users go up to 5mb..my area Uddi looks like one of the last areas still to be done..and still says 'being planned'

I see its just been updated again..at last i have a planned date for my upload speed increase...Feb 2012 FFS .

i live in hull and we only get the choice of Karoo which is gash. i on a o2 dongle which is twice as fast as karoos shite

just spotted the age of the thread.

i was on 20mb and upgraded to 30 and was given a contract to sign, i cancelled and told them to stuff it as ive been a customer for some 20 years. the next week i received a letter to say i had gone upto 30mb for free
maybe next year i will get 50 for free

My area not even in the planned list .I would take anything over talktalk (swap from aol to talktalk run that sound like a plan ,same shit service and bad support staff yay) .3 meg max download what a joke.stuck with them till next year then I may give plusnet a try ,they can not be any worse..

Just hit 6MB on my downloads for the first time. what does that relate to when its converted over?

that would relate to 60 meg download speeds mate you also add an extra 0 to the end mate.
and with virgin you always get a wee bit over what you actually pay for, like me hitting 11.55mb on my 100meg line.
