Here we have the MFME 3.2 version of BWB's classic Red Hot Fever, it's set at £15 jackpot and 30p play.
I have made this layout for MFME and also Project Amber so that you can see the difference in lamping and look between the two emulators.
You will have about a week to play this before I release the Project Amber version which is enough time to get you use to the lamps etc.

This was not an easy machine to DX had lots of small problems one being the nasty £5 notes to the left which was a right pain to lamp. I need to thank Guitar for the help with the CHR and other bits and bobs which made it possible to play this on MFME. I also need Vectra for play testing too. .

This should be ready for a GOTW, keep an eye on the red hot fever top left

Here at last we have BWB's red hot fever. This has been made for both MFME 3.1 and Project Amber so you can decide on which layout you think looks better. I wish to thank guitar for his determination to get Amber finished so we can all enjoy even more games. I've been working with guitar since almost day one and have stuck by him 100% and had total confidence in his efforts to bring us a brand spanking new emulator. I also want to thanks tommy c for his help and patience

Right back to red hot fever.

Its made by BWB and I have 3 profiles 20p £15, 25p £15, 30p £15 all set at 86%

The original size of the layout is 2048 x 2048 so it's a kind of HD layout which can be seen when you scale the machine to full size by pressing F3 when loaded in amber. Pressing F3 or setting the scale to machine size in display settings when you first load amber will make the machine the correct size for your screen.

This has some great little streaks but they are hard to come by so watch out for hidden hints in the game.

Keys

0 =insert £1
space = start
1 =hold/nudge reel 1
2 = hold/nudge/hi reel 2
3 = hold/nudge/lo reel 3
e = exchange to feature
n = nudge stack
r = repeat stack
f = feature stack
s = special bonus
b = bwb extra bonus button


The PAC file needs to be placed in the projectamber/librarys/layout folders
The roms need to be placed in the projectamber/librarys/roms folder

The arrows to the left light up at random and as you land on the cashpot symbol on the feature if the arrows are lit then you will progress further up the cash ladder.

The pac file is rather large at 49.1MB, this is due to the three profiles which all need there own layout.

Fantastic looking layout tommy, Too large for my smaller screen but worked well when I put both my TV and monitor together. I made a small video of what bencrest was refearing to if thats OK. BTW great work on Vertigo too you did a great job on it 10/10 ;-)

   I thought it might have been a good idea to start your 'Time Tunnel' idea on a thread here, in 'Any topics'

 I had a quick look on the JAWS website this morning and found it very interesting. What i was surprised about was the enormous amount of keystroke combinations there are and trying to remember them must be a nightmare. Wonder if they could be stored under the F keys on the top of the keyboard, like macros? I don't know. Tactile keyboards, very interesting, as I said before have seen them being used on telephone switchboards with visually impaired operators.

JAWS Vs MFME ??? This is uncharted territory but an very interesting one. Sounds as though you have mostly worked a way of merging the two systems. Not sure why the keyboard wasn't sending any info. Try a different MFME, like 9.4 or 10.1 and see if it works. 3.2 can come up on some Virus Checkers as a Virus??? Iv'e had this problem,not that it is one, might be suspect script??

Friend of mine who is 100% blind in both eyes uses jaws. I first saw it back in 2001/2 when I use to go round and drop his shopping off. He would have letters he would scan them and it would read them back to him. As he was so use to it he had the speach speed at x3 or x 4 and sounded like rubbish to me but he was able to listen and understand at that speed. It was great for playing online games like poker too which he did a lot of. TBH i was very suprised at how quick he qould navigate web pages and the menus on the computer. I don't know how jaws would work with mfme as I have not seen him in a while otherwise I could load mfme up and see how it went. it might be a bit hard to read what the reel sybols are and how many nudges and credits you have.

They have said that the earth goes through an ice age every so often. Even before cars and factories where spitting out carbon and other shit the earth had lots and lots of carbon from the likes of forest fires not on the scale of what todays are Im talking covering 10's of thousands of miles at a time. Before we came along the earth had been there done that and will do so again. It's just that this time we have cut down all the trees and are the cause and may have increased the speed of this cycle.

Probably wont help much but I did try and make a video and before it was uploaded it had info pop up in bubbles  but as its been uploaded to utube via camtasia its lost the captons and the 920p now looks like 10p lol.

Here is what it was meant to look like lol. Had to record the laptop screen so is a bit wobbly and at least its HD full 1080p.

I know there are still lots of torrent sites unblocked like IPT which is a private torrent site.

Thanks for the update guitar, great to see you are still active with the emu. Good things come to those that wait ;-) Can I just ask are all games that have been released availible on here? Not a member of dads so am not sure, thanks.

I agree with you, they are not very exciting machines to play. Just put your money in hit start and pray for a win. Iv'e only ever come across them in a casino on a cruise ship. There were hundreds of them. Looking at their website, they are based in the States and are not the sort of machines you would see in the British local arcades. 

 

However...has anyone seen an IGT machine in this country and where??????

 

Yes I played a IGT random replay at the tower arcade in Skegness and had the best score of 21 jackpots. Sounds stupid  but it's true. I thought that when it went empty and they refilled it it would cancel the feature but no it bloody carried on and he had to fill it several times. As it was my boss he was not that bothered as he knew the £315 I won from the £15 jackpot machine would go right back into his other machines lol. I have seen others who have said they had very large wins on it. It was according to the writing on the machine 100% random when the replay feature was activated. It dropped a real ball and if it landed in green you got a repeate if red it stopped. I also saw one that was quite forcable. Not sure what it was called but it had 4 reels and it gave super mega streaks. Will look on youtube.

Sorry my bad it was a BGT not IGT lol Still had lots of jackpots the most I have ever had apart from when forcing a barcrest machine on £5jp that had over £125 in the hopper looool

You should be able to install both as I don't think its like an upgrade. It's just a new version, I had cs3 and cs4 installed and would use both of them to do layouts. Also it's not free it's quite expensive if you wish to buy it,

Sad sad news that one of fruit emus members is no longer with us. Thunderstorm AKA Neil Eaketts went missing 24th Sept and was found yesterday in a local canal.

I know life was hard for him and I know he is now at peace.

RIP fella will miss the crazy chats and rants we had on facebook and my thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.

This is two friends I have lost this year its very sad.
