he says he has the old version which will still power up and work normally without lights as the fuses for the lights are on the main power supply and not a mux board.

sounds like you will either have dry joints inside the power supply or a capacitor will be blown.

both cases will need a repair by a reputable fruit machine supplier if you are not electronically minded(i would recommend getting someone who knows what they are doing as you could feck it up even more!!!

Yeah that's correct it's the old edition.

Funnily enough, i've just opened up the machine, I didn't realise and think but I looked inside every bulb, and 40% where black, I removed all the blacked bulbs, and then reinstated a new fuse in the Main Power box, great news was the fuse didn't blow like normal, however all the other bulbs don't light up is this because I need to replace all the other bulbs for the full circuit of bulbs to work?

Or is this still a main fault?

Thanks Adam

how on earth is it running with out lights

when the machine starts up all separate boards are checked and if one isnt ( in this case the MUX unit ) the machine wont boot

This is what I need advice on, it definately boots up and works, but without lights.

Thanks Adam
