Where to buy this type of lock.......

11 March 2016 - 10:26 PM

Hi guys,

I need a fruit machine lock - something approximately 20mm long (most on eBay etc are 30mm) and something with a square end (where the cam bolts onto a square on the lock).

Hopefully that makes sense!  Does anyone have one they could sell, or know where I could get one?

Many thanks,

Mark

MPU4 Replacing Leaking Battery

11 November 2015 - 08:41 PM

Hi guys,

You may have seen from my earlier post that I had a problem with my Fantasia Rol A Top, which was caused by a flat battery.  Following the good advice I received on here I've investigated and the battery has started to leak - but I think I caught it just in time.  I've removed the battery now and cleaned the small amount of discharge with vinegar.

Could anyone tell from the pic below if it looks like there is any damage to the board caused by the battery leak?

Pic 1 is the battery in position, Pic 2 is the battery removed, and Pic 3 is the area after being cleaned with vinegar.

Also, does anyone know where I can buy a replacement battery?  As suggested, I will try and mount this off the board to prevent problems in future :)

Thanks in advance, Mark.

Fantasia Rol A Top (MPU4) alarm - help please :)

09 November 2015 - 10:21 AM

Hi all, I have a Rol A Top one armed bandit machine by Fantasia.  I will try and upload a picture later, but basically it is a modern machine with an PMU4 processor, but in the shell of an actual Rol A Top one armed bandit.

It has been working fine, but when I switched on yesterday the reels span as they usually do, but didnt line up properly.  Then an alarm noise sounded.  This happened when I tried a couple more times.

I've checked the connectors on the MPU4 to check they are properly connected, but not sure what I should try next.  Any ideas?

I would love to get this going soon as it is one of my favourite machines.

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Gemini SWP "Pizza The Action"

21 May 2015 - 02:09 PM

Hi guys, I'm hoping someone can help me with an issue......

These machines seem very simple, and the game is simply pressing a button to spin a ball around, trying to land on a lit section.

The button is a special "skill" button, with a deep press.  The instructions say a firm (deep) press should make the ball spin a long way, and a slight/short press should make it spin a little way.

(there is also a FAST/MEDIUM/SLOW light that comes on, but that is not relevant to this).

Anywya, on my machine the skill button seems to work oin reverse - ie; a slight press makes it spin a long way, but a firm press spins only a little.

There are two wires connected to the skill button - I tried reversing these, in case they were wired the wrong way round, but it made no difference.

Does anyone have any ideas of how I could fix this, or what might cause the problem?

The actual button assembly moves a long piece of plastic with sections cut out through what looks like two opto sensors.  It looks in good condition with nothing broken etc.

Any help appreciated!

Many thanks, Mark

Megatouch

31 January 2015 - 06:11 PM

Hi guys,

I hope you don't mind, but I'm hoping someone can help me with a Megatouch issue.......

Tonight I was removing a decal stuck on top of the "proper" one, and managed to damage the proper one in the process with label remover - see picture :(

Anyway, I'm hoping someone can tell me where I might be able to get one of these, or even better does anyone (operators?) have any of these lying around.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Mark

Just tried to view my own attachment and it said I don't have permission?  Does anyone know what I've done wrong?

Thanks!
