Do you need licences etc to make and sell machines as a manufacturer?
i.,e is it only the big players that could afford to make new reel based machines, even on a small scale?

Hardly ever play a machine in the wild now that I own a couple.

Most car fobs are not infra-red, as if they were, they would not operate through clothing, walls etc. They are radio frequency, but still, they only work on cars, not fruit machines.

Suprised they are not selling them as cash machine manipulators, with the same old lines, it will interfere with the eproms in the machine etc.. Sheesh what bollocks they come out with.

Pie factory has a true skill, cant remember its name of hand, and too pissed to go downstairs and put it on demo to figure out which feature it is, but its the one where the reels all spin round, and you have to stop it on the win you want.
Course the wins spin too fast for anyone to have a chance of stopping it on anything other than a pretty random win - unless you know how to do it, in which case the jackpot every time.

Same will go for pretty much any similar feature, where the same can be done (you need to be able to get a good view of the reels)

measure the opto pin (coin count) with the machine powered up, it should alter voltage when a the opto is blocked with a coin or bit of card that you stick next to it.

If it does not then the opto is dead.

Now measure the opto supply, should be present and as rated. If not, cable or mpu fault.
