Adding note acceptor

09 February 2010 - 11:01 PM

I'd quite like to explore the possibility of adding a note acceptor to Barcrest Bully for You. I believe it has had one before as there are various stickers in the cabinet warning of note acceptor related stuff, and there is a piece of removable panelling from the cabinet, where presumably a note acceptor once was.

I'm not sure where to start, and which note acceptor I should look into purchasing. There are a few on eBay, I think the NV4 and NV7. What else will I need apart from these? Do I need panel parts etc?

Cheers in advance.

Sticky Buttons

09 February 2010 - 07:02 PM

Hiya,

Bought a second hand machine today, and has a bit of a sticky hold and cancel button. Any immediate solutions to fix this?
I've tried taking the buttons off, but to no avail.

Phil the Power Taylor - Bully for You

06 February 2010 - 05:07 PM

Hiya,

I know that the Phil the Power Taylor machine by Barcrest, is a clone of Bully for you. However, to what length is it a clone? What I would really like to find out, is whether the sounds are the same, in particular the feature music?

Any answers will be much appreciated as I have to decide which to purchase by Sunday eve.

Cheers

Variable Stake/Jackpot Key - Error 49

16 January 2010 - 12:10 PM

Just purchased a variable stake and jackpot key for my Maygay London Underground machine. However, having put it in, and setting the dip swithces correctly, it fires up with a 'Stake Key Error/49'. Just wondering if the machine is not compatible with Epoch, or it's a faulty key?

Cheers
