I'd quite like to explore the possibility of adding a note acceptor to Barcrest Bully for You. I believe it has had one before as there are various stickers in the cabinet warning of note acceptor related stuff, and there is a piece of removable panelling from the cabinet, where presumably a note acceptor once was.

I'm not sure where to start, and which note acceptor I should look into purchasing. There are a few on eBay, I think the NV4 and NV7. What else will I need apart from these? Do I need panel parts etc?

Cheers in advance.

Bully For You can have a note acceptor as i added one to my bully when i had one. I used a JCM note acceptor but an NV4 or i believe NV8 will be ok. You should look for a pack which has note acceptor unit including all fittings and wiring loom.
Does the machine already have a black metal cash box fitted on the bottom left side of the cabinet?

Looms to go with the note acceptor.. Making sure you have a unit that not going to need the BNV Key.. To reset them isnt a major job..

Yeah there is already a cash box in the cabinet. Nothing in it obviously.

Would an NV7 work?

You'll need something like this. Different faceplate though depending on which note acceptor you fit.
