Here is my first layout a dx of super jester (1024 res), I hope you like it.
Thanks to compost corner for the images, adydb, razors back and pash for playtesting and pook for the helpful posts about lamping.
Controls: c = collect, ¬=cancel, 1 2 3 = holds and nudges, space = start, a = autoplay, 0 is pound in and f10 is toggle reels.
Thanks for playing it, please let me know what you think.

thanks alot, i had no idea this game was so popular i really only made it because i loved the game when i was younger. i really thought it would be removed from the database because nobody had downloaded it, but obviously i was wrong.

I used to play this at Skegness :) [lol] in the 'kids' area of some of the larger arcades there, and seeing it emulated has brought back memories - surely that is the best thing emulation can give?!
The fact it is your first release makes it the most impressive - I don't remember there as being a classic, and so AFAIK you have put together a pretty damn good DX release of a machine that hasnt had a layout released for it before!
Nice to see, I'm lookin forward to doing something over my halfterm [this week], to compensate for the Trig + Mechanics, and the Kirchhoffs laws if thats how you spell it :)
Watch this space for news on my first layout, It'll only be a couple of hours a day but I think it'll be ok-ish in the end!!!

I remember playing this as well when I was younger.
The version I played though was £4.80 Token Jackpot.
50p for Grapes. £1 for Melons. £2 for Bars. And £4.80 for Jokers.
Funny thing is I had started on a DX for this ages ago but didn't get around to finishing it.
Well done on your first layout. Not a bad one at all.

Bugs and Leeham released a Classic for this a while ago.
Have a look:

It was a PDX based around Farscape using the Superstreak roms, it's not on my site actually, not sure I still have it, I'll have to dig it out.
Here's the original release thread from FF.

I like Lo-Techs, you REALLY DON'T need a DX for them to feel realistic - just bung cash in and press 'George' like the grannys do :)
Seriously, I'll be digging through the old classic layouts over the next week, I'm sure most of the 7200 users [where the f**k did the come from / go??] haven't played the Classics as they look like Visual Basic - which is probably why I like the look of them!
Lord knows what I'll do as a layout - if anyone hs any recommendation and theres a flyer/scan available I'll have a shot, otherwise I'll do something weird, you can be sure of that!

I'm gonna mke myself out to be really stupid now but this is one thing I never understood about this machine when I was playing it back in the day in Blackpool and Skegness.... what exactly was the point of the 4 playing card symbols in the top left? Why did they light up? And what happened if you got them all?

the thing with the playing cards is when you light all of them you win the jackpot.
