its suppossed to say all cash de reg as this means the program chips are designed for an all cash machine instead of a token machine but the previous owner has changed the wires on the solonoid when the £1 solonoid developed a fault.

i think the pound solonoid may have developed a fault and the previous owner has just changed the wires to the token tube so it would pay out tokens instead.

baz

that would make sence, there is a quid jammed hard in there, I have just moved the token one over and now that works fine in test mode, £1 go and and get payed out i think the machine only pays £1 and 20p's and they both work find in test mode.

now its just getting the payout working correctly in a real game!..

thanks again for the help

if they pulse ok in test then they should pulse ok in real play apart from the fact that if you dont have many £1.00 coins in the £1 tube then it will try to payout 20ps all the time.

scorpion 4 technology.. how old is that then? I thought this was quite an old machine, what is the Bell fruit machine DR Who and the timelords? this seems to be the same era (cab wise).

I would like to learn more about all this its really interesting,

the cash vegas machine was one of the early scorpion 4 machines.

dr who era machines were scorpion 2 tech which can be emulated.

the machine you have was one of the first scorpion 4 machines which then later came out in smaller cabinets and then became the bellfruit style cabinets that you see today although the technology has now moved onto scorpion 5.
but
machines are still being produced with the scorpion 4 tech which is why it cant be emulated at the moment.

hold on a minute...

i just looked at your picture again and it looks like this is an older version of cash vegas which is housed in a scorpion 2 cabinet so this may well have the scorpion 2 tech.

bellfruit released a version of this machine in the crazy fruits style cabinet which is defo scorpion 4 but your machine looks like its in the same cabinet as make a million and big breakfast which are scorpion 2.

so this machine could be emulated!!!

the easy way to tell is on the gamecard does it just have game chips or does it have sound chips as well.

scorpion 2 sound chips are on the mpu but scorpion 4 soundchips are on the gamecard.
