Was in Bournemouth for the bank holiday .Found an exchange unlimited 2p play although the empire one.£2 in 1.40 out although only 1.20 actually came out.Can't stand the ticket and the pushers.

Was in Larg in scotland in the summer found one arcade that only had bar-x and variant machines.Very sad.

Does any where have any classics left apart from the obvious(mrps). And my localish seaside haunt, Certanly dosent seem like it, apart from odd few scatterd about, monoploply and the roll for example in Great Yarmouth, still plenty of old bar xs, red bar, big7s about though, not exactly casino crazy, jewel in the crown or dr who though is it😢

"A few years back, I went into an arcade in Bognor Regis which had several old machines including Andy Capp set at £6 token, a couple of watch for my hidden treasures machines, including Golden Mile and some jpms from the impact £6 era like rollercoaster and Pinball wizard. 
 

There was a good 10-15 late 80's early 90's machines. I remember I even said to the old guy running it, you've some great classic machines in here."

 

Next time I go down there, I'll take a look and see if it's still there. Hopefully got a few days off in a couple of weeks, so might take a look, now I've thought about it.

There is a classic arcade, or should I say an arcade with some classics in it, in Kendal.

Few and far between these days. Hunstanton has a couple. Pink Panther, Pot of Gold, Lite a Nudge, Ring a Bell and Triple Bell in one place. Another Ring a Bell, Triple bell and Riverboat Gambler in another.

What I never quite understand is that it seems to be perfectly normal(ish) to have a load of £5 crappy Reds etc in an arcade largely untouched but not old £4.80 machines that have been upgraded by 20p

 

They did a remake of (I think) Exchanges Unlimited a few years ago so why not recreate the old classics. You'd get a lot more people through the door (with a potential to "upgrade"  them onto more profitable machines) and the places would not be like a mausoleum 90% of the time...
