That isn't doable by quite a few members vectra mate, and that is why I requested that the donation thread should be left for at least one month for members to contribute when their income is due.

We don't want to put any pressure on any member to make a donation, and especially within such a short timeframe - any member that wishes to donate personally to thunderstorm's funeral service donation may do so, but the donation thread is here for members to make their contribution voluntary, and then for the members to make their choice in the poll that will be set up for the donations to go to.

I agree with you there Daryl,

Quite a few members here wont donate for the sheer fact there are loads of leechers here to grab grab and grab only.

But there is also quite a few that have hearts here and knew who Thunderstorm was and or what his issues were.

The thread being opened til next month is great as some people like me plan their money not just on a daily basis but on a monthly basis, so making a snap donation most wont be able to do.

The target of £250 would be great but like you say whatever is in the pot is a donation no matter what.

As I said before I dunno about others but as I now know the details I will be doing a minute or two minute silence myself as a mark of respect to him on the time of his funeral.

Leechers grab, grab, grab, that's life these days I'm afraid and there is no way of getting away from it.

I would love to think we can reach the target within the timescale, however just in real life we cannot rattle a tin in front of passers-by and will have to rely on peoples good will.

Unfortunately I cannot be at Neil's funeral, but it will not stop me from spending a couple of minutes at 11.30 this Saturday thinking of him.

I trust we will all do the same, of course we will.

That I like. Yes Yes Yes. Worthy of an inscription on Neil's memorial. Makes it most certainly. Like thunder memory. Be at peace.

Nice one Daryl.
