... I do agree with you, and I've had my say now. Hopefully we can draw a line under this and move on. I've said it before and I'll say it again - I'd love nothing more than for people to forget the past and just move on. I don't bear any malice towards anybody on here, I just felt somewhat aggrieved that some people decided to take a negative stance towards this thread.
Fruit Forums has now got it's funding sorted (not that there was ever an issue), although I'm amazed a single person stumped up the cash, I was waiting for payday (Friday, woo-hoo!) before committing anything.
Obviously I will contribute, I don't mind if it goes into the Mecca or Fruit Forums kitty since Pete runs both and does a good job

Another issue with FME and the internet as well, is that a lot of people have medical issues, which affect the way they act and sometimes it isn't obvious.
Several members on the forums, have medical issues and once you get to know some people, you realise why they are like they are sometimes.
I said on FF recently, actually meeting people or being on their Facebook/Twitter friends, does make you realise that we are all real people, with feelings and not just a username. It's all too easy to call someone a name on the internet (and I'm as guilty as the next person), that you wouldn't to their face.
It's a shame, there wasn't some sort of massive meet up, of say 100 + fme members in the past, getting together for a drink, a laugh and a chat about FME. I'm pretty sure, it would have helped no end, sort out many of the problems FME has had in the 13 + years it has been going for.

who was the gobby user on your forums that I eventually posted to you and asked if their was a way to tone down his replies? must of worked because from that day forward he barely said a word...
