I'm afraid until we get an alpha/beta release bud, we will just have to patiently wait if we weren't accepted by killcrazy for testing.

Thanks for the june update nice to see things progressing even if I don't understand a thing about this lol. I just wait for the day when I turn lappy on and hear the simpsons on a fruit machine mmmmmm fruit machines arghhhhgg!!!
Just one thing when its completed will the opening page as in mfme and the design edit mode be the same as mfme's as that's fairly simple to use
The design 'workshop' (as I've christened it! ) will be similar in concept, but not exactly the same. The goal is for it to be very easy to use.
I'll ask for plenty of feedback from layout creators as development continues ...
Thanks very much as always for the update. Great to hear that things are progressing.
Cannonball Run uses a mini disc-reel and 4 reels - maybe the disc-reel is causing problems? But then again, Spin On It has a disc-reel as well, so probably not.
I sincerely hope more sound ROMs turn up and it's a shame that the people you have contacted have been so unhelpful. Maybe there needs to be a push towards group-buys of old Epoch machines for glass artwork and ROMs. I would be more than happy to help financially with gathering resources. PM me if you want to discuss it further.
Thanks for the offer I'm going to set up a donation link soon for anyone who'd like to help contribute. To emphasise this is strictly for covering costs of acquiring ROMs/resources, paying for web site hosting etc.
So far I've spent a few hundred pounds on ROMs and MPU & driver boards (to tear apart!) so any help going forward would be massively appreciated
Hey Killcrazy. Just wondering how you are getting on with recording the videos? It's just that I have my teacher Tony tomorrow morning, and he'd like to see the emu ASAP before we break up on the 5th of July. There are no lessons at all next week, but it's still all go and full of activity. He'd request either Homer's meltdown or the simpsons. He'd like to see how the sound roms have been synchronised compared to the other vid which I showed him and even I'd be interested to hear the differences! Do you still get that horrible alarm sound? I can't help you on how to stop that, but that may be something I can do when testing starts.
Next month's update is likely to be quite small, so I'll include a couple of new videos with it. The next big update will be mid-August where I hope to have a video of the workshop and a first 'classic' layout running
Hi. Back on my home lappy. Have no idea where to find 0.21 alpha and the website is not that good with JAWS. Please can you help me out anyone? Speaking of JAWS, the ex-student is coming today and we're going to buy the Braille display . All I need is a bit of Tony's lesson for testing, and voila!
Sorry to disappoint but I'm only looking for a small number of testers at the moment. The emulator's not easy to use in it's current form and there's still a lot of bugs to sort out. I'd be a bit swamped with issues and support requests if I had more than a few people helping.

Hi Killcrazy. thanks for the update. Obvioulsy i understand that your playtester group will be limited, but the offer is still there if you need anymore.
Can i make one "extra special, super duper, youd make my day" request please.
I just made a post saying that i was looking for access to some sounds for the "Pick Yer Pesos" machine (global/impulse) for my mobile notifications). this was the first machine I really played down my pub, and the first machine i ever owned.
Is there any chance you could make a video of this machine (like your other ones) so that i can cut out some high quality sounds (as my own old ones on youtube are poor sound quality).
Im specifically looking for the "Laugh" and the Donkey "HAW-HEE!!" but obviously the longer the better..
Please please please..
Thanks Matey

Hi Killcrazy, I would also like to request a you'd make my day request to be a tester as I am going to be 100 % board! I have just posted a thread saying that I have finished all exams and lessons, so I would like something constructive to do. I have never played Pick Yer Pesos, so I would like to hear it too. Or once again, I could have played it, but not realized it due to the technical noob that is my mother, love you really mum! lol.

Ooo 32bit AND 64bit builds.
For those that do want to test, I should just add, from what I can see, it's an emu with debugger at the moment, there are no tools so layout creation, and therefore "playing games" isn't possible just yet.
Well, you can sort of play them, same as MAME really if you've tried the sc4 DOND stuff.

Hi guys,
Version 0.22 Alpha is now available over at the forums. This fixes several issues in the core that prevent the more recent machines from running (Global's Wildside and a few others)
I've added 3 new forums for posting feedback, bug reports and feature requests. Please make use of them, thanks
All forums should now also be visible to all users (the downloads are still for beta testers only atm though)
