How to nudge up? I believe you just press the Cancel button, which is the left most button on the machine. Some text lights up next to it telling you that you can nudge up.
I'm sure it's the normal keyboard shortcut, assuming you are on a standard UK keyboard layout - it's the 'tilde' key, which is to the left of 1, and above 'TAB'
