its a total bitch to do but drilling it is the only way.

get a small drill bit and drill through the centre of the lock and once about halfway through change to a bit that it roughly the same size as the tongue shaft on the lock.

eventually it will fall apart.

it is a bit of a nightmare though.

It's a bitch to get a drill to the lock on this type of machine, due to the tightness of it in relation to the coin tray.

Got a BWB Championship Soccer in the same cab, and struggled myself.

Best option like Baz has mentioned, is start with a smaller sized drillbit (size 6 is probs best), go as center to the lock as you can, and keep swapping for bigger sizes, untill you manage to poke the internal cam arm off the other side.

Yeah as everyone has said it's tricky... drilling does tend to take a lump out of the front of the tray, I know this from experience!

I can pick tubular locks when I can get to them, but I don't even think you can get the pick anywhere near these. There is an alternate style of 2-piece pick that could be used in a tight space like this but I don't have one, and they aren't as easy to use as the standard pick either...

That was what some one did to this BWB I have, and shagged up the locking bar inside, but luckily I managed to bend it back in to shape with a pair of mole grips.

Just make your own!
:biglaugh:

There is no way to non-destructively remove parts from the outside, it's built like that for a reason...
If you have access to the bottom of the machine you might be able to reach up through, but I doubt it as I think these cabinets had boards in the bottom which prevent this.

Even not, the cash door locks are much easier to drill in the previously described way.

I'll have a look at my BWB later, as I have a funny feeling that there is no way in via there, but will check to be sure.

Yeah I think the bottom is all partitioned off from the top. I don't have one to look at any more so I will await your investigation... by the way did you get my PM on the Mecca the other day? About those camlock assemblies?

Just had a look at my BWB, and although it's NOT sealed off from the cash box area, the place where the reels sit, make it impossible to get your arm around, even with the length of my arms as they are, so it's a drill job unfortunately bud :(

Alex, have replied back @ the mecca :)

get a small pair of mole grips and place them flat against the door and grip the surround of the lock and tighten the molegrips. (if there is a seperate collar to the lock (the type that spin) then REALLY tighten the molegrips and it will eventually break if you keep tighten and un-tighten them) then just twist the grips left or right and the lock will turn. i used to be an frutiy enginer, and we had a lot of problems with people breaking into machines in this way (and they could turn the lock back to the normal "locked" postion, so you woudnt know it had even been robbed untill you inspected the lock and metal retaing plate, and the fact that all the money had gone)
of course, if the lock is recessed into the door, then this wont work.

or get a big sod off screwdriver and ram its head in the key slot, and wack it with an even bigger, sod off hammer...hard!..very hard! then twist the screwdriver handle using molegrips attached to the screwdriver handle.. :)

Hi Guys Ive Done It

Yes No Drills-Hammers Used

1st I Removed The Psu & The Not Acceptor Chassis (Giving Me More Access)

Then Was Able To Reach in & Undo The Wingnut & Same On The Otherside Using Small Access Where The Tubes For Cash Box Are - This Removed The Cash Out Draw :)

Then The Tricky Bit - lucky My Smallish

I Then Had To Get Inside The Lower Cabnet & Remove The reels & Reel Driver Board (Allow Me Access To The Lock)
Was Not Easy

After It Was Done Was Just The Case Of A Pair Of Mole Grips & While Trying To Bend The Lock Bar (on The Lock)
Snap ... It Broke Off The Lock & Regaining Me Access :)

Wasnt Easy - Only Damage Done Was A Slight Mark On One Of the Reels (due to the Lack Of Movement Space)

Next time Ill Remove The Cash Draw & Drill Lock think :)

Honest to God Thats How I Done it :)
