can somebody help me with the following - pirate bay distributes more illegal files than i could possibly imagine. MS, Apple, Sony are but a few names of companies losing money because of pirate bay - and yet it still thrives as a p2p hive. if mfme version whatever was leaked by wizard himself, whats the consequense? he denies coding it, he denies putting his name on it ??

For me personally its about playing the old fruit machines, don't get me wrong i go down to Southend-on-sea to play the Ultra hot ( magic games ). Its Mick if anyone from Southend knows me o/.....back on topic

I suggest you take it up with wizard. No-one is stopping him release an mime update, only his attitude to the scene that has provided thousands of resources.

In most cases gathering resources is a piece of piss compared to writing an emulator, regardless of how much MAME code was used. And thanks to the versions of MFME we did get from Wizard (not to mention other emulators from other authors), we've been able to use probably 95% of the stuff we've got. The difference between me and others is that I'm not going to cry about the other 5% and cling onto some misguided sense of entitlement and believe that I should be able to play every single ROM I've downloaded off a BBS over the years.
