Possible idea -
If you want to fiddle with the Dip Switches, I would download the Rich and Famous layout and rom [they are available on the site!] and have a shot with those - at least you will know what to expect!

Hi BB
yes I've already got this emulated version, but interesting -
I'll give it a go with the Dip switches and see what becomes....

like my other thread 'Resetting the VTP's' :
S - U - C - C - E - S - S spells SUCCESS !!!
well everyone - I've managed to reset the RAM (including the Long-term memory).
The amusement arcade I bought it from managed to send me another MPU4 program card and this has done the trick
Thanks to everyone who posted replies on this thread - you're all an asset to this forum !

Congrats on getting that sorted mate - just hope it isn't a corrupt ROM now
I didn't realise how hard it would be to reset, I always assumed there would be a button that reset it
I see you've posted on a similar thread which I haven't read yet, I assume its the same!

Thanks BarcrestBenito
Yes, it certainly has been playing well !!!
It reset everything to zero.
I expected it to play weird during the first £50 in (percentage went up to 150% but has settled down to about 86% - the actual is 84% so nearly there!)
I don't think the ROM is corrupt (hopefully, touch wood!!)
Thanks again for all your support mate (and everyone else who had solutions / ideas)

Putting in another program card wouldn't corrupt the rom, you're ok!
