I have already explained the truth. The top box on a Party Time has no percentage setting - only the slaves do. Think of it as 3 separate machines if it makes it easier. You could have each one set to a different percentage, stake and prize setting if you wanted - the top box simply does what the slave tells it to.

If the top box on a 3-player sit down did have its own variable payout, then it would require its own individual licence fee.. Simple as

Yes it would be interesting to get real answers from various manufacturers - but all you'll get is a stock response - mainly through fear of rival companies fishing for info

What is so hard for people to understand here ?

My understanding of these is exactly the same as what stevedude has said.

All the slaves have there own % payout.
All slaves are independant of each other.
When each slave has decided to go up to the top box the relevent slave tells the top box what to do eg how much to award.
For example winning on slave 2 topbox £90 has no bearing on either the topbox payouts for slave 1 or 3 etc nor does it affect the slave percentage payout of slave 1 or 3 etc.

I also think some confusion over this is i beleive that some top boxes in the early days, maybe certain manus had to have a % key fitted for it to work, but it didnt actually use it so it didnt matter what % was fitted as long as there was one as its the slave that determines the payout anyway!


In short the topbox is only delivering the WIN that the slave has decided to pay.

Hi all, i still haven't had an email back from ASTRA (novatech?) but upon reading this thread i think it's already been sorted.

I can't see someone winning loads on player 1 machine and and it effect someone else who has already pumped a ton in player 4 machine just because player 1 had a brilliant top box feature. does that make sense?

Also spoke with someone about a emptier on RED,WHITE and BLUE and if the top box on this machine effected percentage's on it's 3 separate machines the emptier wouldn't work... Unfortunatly i can't divulge anymore.....

Is that Red, White & Blue emptier the 1 where u hold all the reels 4 the nudge or is there an other 1?
