I know gameplay on machines is very important, which of course it is. BUT, In todays climate I would never play a £5-£15 Jackpot machine whatever the gameplay was like as the jackpot just isn't worth winning! Even a few repeats and it's still rubbish.
Personally I think the pub machines were at their best at 25p and £25j/p, with the chance of £70+ win. It was enticing enough to both the hardcore and casual player. I don't go to many pubs these days but surely Joe Bloggs doesn't tend to play the £70jp at £1 a spin but the same person would risk a few quid at 10p a play with a £100 j/p or 25p a go for a £25jp.
These £1+ a spin machines have killed it for me. People only have so much money and I agree to a point made earlier in this thread. Surely its better to have a machine that is played all the time on smaller stakes to one that is quiet but is on £1 a spin?
I've always like the club machines but I know they are not everyones cup of tea.

These arn't Club machines, they are AWP's with a twist....
Before the birth of S21's there was a massive divide...playing in a club on an enhanced AWP machine gave the 'club' difference......same stake and at a members club enjoying the chance of a bigger Jackpot...
So in arcades these B3's blah blah are to be kept away from under 18's....are they heck..just as in any club in the past prior to them all....
Club/AWP in my eyes are One of the same now.....

I know they aren't club machines. I was just saying that I liked them.
