...was gonna donate the rom set...digi cam for nice screenies...

OK, I'll contact the buyer and the seller, if we can get a ROM dump before the buyer's cheque clears, then we won't have to worry about going all the way to the seller to ask him for a favour...

I'll direct them both to this thread...watch this space

PS - nasty avatar - do you hate girls or summink?...

Great, that's OK, but what about the System80 mainboard, to make the emulator from? That's what I'm gunning for...

Hi no need tbh. I have a couple of spare System 80 PCB's plus tech sheets that are available for the emu authors, plus another ROM dump of another System 80 game.

Well why the bloody hell didn't you say so in the first place? :D :D :D

No worries, we'll see what happens anyway, who knows, I might have introduced a couple of new members... 8)

BTW, what's the other game you've got? :?:

OK, I got replies from both of them - here's the winning bidder, 'arcadetimewarp':-

Judging from the last few posts in the thread you won't be needing either the board or ROM set? I have no objection to helping you guys out if required. Let me know. - if you're reading this, many thanks for offering anyway, and watch this space, there should be some good'un's coming up in the very near future :)

However... it seems the seller, 'redroseleisure', is still in a temper tantrum for having had to sell his £450 investment for a paltry £62:-

YOU CAN f*** OFF AND BUY THE MACHINE LIKE I DID TO COPY THE ROM'S!!!! - what a nice boy...

Maybe he didn't like what Adam said in the first post...

but i could be wrong (maybe mps1???)

The only thing that makes these machines is redrose.

Theyre the only ones who charge stupid money for them ,and theyre also the ones who will pay stupid money for them.

TBH theres alot more of these machines going about than they realise, for nothing more than 300 quid.

RARE? my f*****g arse they are, I know 4 people with one of these ROFL and they certainly never paid a grand a pop for them.

Maybe now people will start realising that these machines are only worth what peolple will pay for them?

who the hell would buy a machine for a grand a pop? obviously red rose did, but who else really. they expected to make a nice profit on that as well.

anyway red rose i am looking to sell my machine if you want to put a sensible offer in, i am looking for about the 700-1000 mark.
