Here is my local store. Well whats left of it now, so god knows what they are staying open for.

Ours the same with a big "9 days to go" sign on the door.

I bought an advent calender from Woolworths the other day, all the windows were boarded up and it had nothing inside

yeah feel so sorry for the staff at least im not being made redundant until jan 12th seriously gd luck to all of them x

Woolies could be back in the summer, as an on-line retailer, which would be part of the same firm that runs Littlewoods and Kays.

if they put online only, wouldnt that ruin what woolworths is/was.

the idea of woolworths was it was just a shop in town that had everything, obviously not groceries etc.

Would be nice to see the Woolies name again,wherever it is.The Ladybird clothing range will be resurrected as well.Bought my son some lovely clothes and would still buy online.:bigeyes02:

The trick was to put small things in (like chocolate raisins) near the top then you could shake them down into the gaps!!!

i love the pic and mix no where does it round here any more excepth the cinema and its £2.50 per 100 g there what a rip off
