#333401 BellFruit Family Guy The Drunken Clam / STAKE-JP error 91

Posted by xJMz on 26 September 2021 - 12:08 PM in Real Fruit Machine help and technical support

Can I buy the ROMs from anywhere to fit myself?

The roms will only support £100 jackpot. You'd need to replace with £70 roms and security chip (the one in the box) if you want that configuration. Are they not with the rest of the decals?

Thanks for the reply buddy!
Ahh I see, it was only the £70 key, decals, a spare button switch, reel decal, and the little brown box with chip in it that's supplied. I've looked inside the machine for any other spares but to be honest I don't know what I'm looking for when it comes to ROMs.

How much would I be for what's needed?

Not sure if it's worth my while as re-selling anyway but would have been handy to have both options for the new customer. I might just stick it back to £100.

#333397 BellFruit Family Guy The Drunken Clam / STAKE-JP error 91

Posted by xJMz on 23 September 2021 - 12:19 PM in Real Fruit Machine help and technical support

Hi there,
Acquired tye Family Guy Drunken Clam fruit machine by BellFruit on £100 JP 25/50/£1.

It came with replacement decals and mirror reel for £70 JP.

When I changed the Chip to the £70 one, I get the "Stake Err Key 91" error.

I imagined since all replacement key/decals were provided that the ROM supported both. Am I wrong?

Also in the bag with supoes there was a small brown box with a tiny chip inside.. any idea what it's for? Photos attached.

Any help is appreciated.

Just posted this over at the mecca but thought I would here too..

Still looking for some machines to fill some space, if anyone has any for sale in Scotland (I'm in Ayrshire) and would deliver for a fee then if you could post what you have and maybe a pic! :)

#248274 Fruit Machines that have been destroyed by lowering the JP to £5

Posted by xJMz on 24 February 2013 - 06:31 PM in Real Fruit Machines

I'd say the current machine I have "Yabba dabba Darts" Is pretty much ruined at £5 Jackpot because on several occasions only a few throws on the main dart board itself equal that amount. I haven't tried it on £25 yet but i'm pretty certain it would be better to play as I've been told. I don't have the decals for it though.

I thought I would update the thread and mention I managed to get my hands on a fruity near me. I got the "Yabba Dabba Darts" By Barcrest. Pretty much in excellent condition and fully working order.

Don't get me wrong looks lovely in the horizon cabinet but over 2 days I must say i'm not a huge fan of the "fat" buttons.. might just be me..

Only thing is I got 2x £5 decals with it which is kind of disappointing because I would have liked the £25 ones also. I've done a check and I can get them for £30 but didnt know if that was overpriced..

Since I have 1 spare set here anyway be good if I could get a trade.

Doubtful this guy sells any, but he could well have contacts which would.

Give Johnny's Amusements (He's over in Edinburgh) over at MPU Mecca a shout, and see what he can sort out.

Thanks, Edinburgh is a bit far from me, around 2 hours~

Especially when i'm looking for it to be delivered but thanks! Will possibly send him a message and see who he knows! :)

As the title says, looking for a fruit machine - specifically having a trail and good feature board. Any really considered, I reckon a good Barcrest would be what i'm after but you never know..

Pretty hard to find a lot of fruit machines for sale in Scotland as buying them else where you usually pay LOADS for a courier. I myself don't have transport for one either so I would pay extra for delivery though if anyone has one for sale near me. (Ayrshire)

Try 1-4 off 5-8 on and vice versa if you get invalid key i don't know what the hell is going on with your stakes and prize key,as the original settings i posted at the mecca yesterday work on my mpu5 machines.

Yea invalid key mate, perhaps i need to buy a new key? could you point me in the direction of one on ebay or something. I could be wrong at maybe the software/roms wont allow it. I just thought it would since it does allow me to play it on test mode.

When all switches are off and i turn the machine on.. I get NOKEY .. the reels will then spin and startup and it will be £25 / 30p (which i presume then is default) and does the EXACT same without the key in it.

Edit: nope tried that and no results, its so frustrating! because i know it can be set because i play it on it on test mode and it even lights up [25p] on the coin slot up the top! lol

Currently for £25 // 30p it is all switches off!

normaly switches 1-4 are for the prize and 5-8 are for the stake

Tommy! didnt expect u to reply haha. so if i keep 1-4 off then try putting 5-8 on (1 at a time) that might change things?

Have you tried to play the emu? That may help or have a look on the repro to see if there is a manual or you could check the mecca. Sorry I can't be more of a help.

On a side note any chance you could get the decals scanned and uploaded them Fruit Emu? I dont think there is a £25 ver atm so might come in handy. Cheers

I have got the emu and played it, not sure where i got it from but was the 1024DX set at £25. But i'm not sure how that would help me just now.. :( I'll try get them scanned eventually yes.

Hi, just wondering if anyone on here could help me at all. I acquired the above machine not that long ago and was given extra decals/artwork for to change it to £25 jackpot. Its currently on 10p // £5. I have checked if it is compatible with £25 and it is. I just cant get the correct combination of switches to change it to 25p // £25.

Any help would be great! Also here is a picture of the current switch settings for what it is on just now.

(Currently switch 1 & 8 are on, rest are off)
