Message Regarding Mame And Bfmulator

17 July 2012 - 12:24 PM

On and off, I've been working on a tool that will convert the BFMUlator layout standard into something that will run as artwork in MAME, largely so people have got some games to play while I work on putting something together to make suitable layouts for newer games.

As a matter of wanting to ensure people are properly credited, and to avoid wholesale impinging on artist's rights etc, I wanted to ask that anyone who has published a BFMUlator layout who objects to this process occurring to make themselves known to me via http://agemame.mamew...nfo/contact.php

I'd also appreciate contact from anyone who can make it possible to determine who authored what, as I currently work from a Geddy DAT file with no author information.

Help me solve a few technical details re: MPU4

09 May 2006 - 02:12 PM

As you may know, I've been trying to emulate the MPU4 platform in open source, in order to try to find the few remaining problems with the Video card emulation.

However, my schematics do not include the actual gamecard that plugs into the unit.

If anyone has the ability to photograph their gamecard and post a picture here, I would appreciate it (I would like to see the version without the sampled sound as well, so that I can determine just what difference there is code wise).

AGEMAME 0.27 released

15 September 2005 - 07:16 PM

I've put the details up at www.mameworld.net/agemame/ - with the ROMs available from http://www.fruit-emu...condor/agemame/

MAGE roms have moved

26 May 2005 - 07:38 PM

I normally rely on Duplu setting up the database for MAGE/AGEMAME roms.

Since he's not around at present, I've set up a more easy to use (from my perspective) ROM directory.

To find them, go to http://fruit-emu-net...condor/agemame/ , and follow the instructions.

For all those with MAGE problems

28 February 2005 - 12:51 PM

I'd rather that they were reported in a more coherent format, to make it easier to track them.

As a result, if you go to my homepage: http://magesrc.sf.net and sign up there, you'll be able to use the Bug Tracker link to connect to my bug database. (I ask you to sign up, so that I can keep track of whether particular PC setups are causing the problems)

From there, click Report Issue and fill in the form with the details (if you don't know the driver name, just leave it as the default, I can work it out easily enough, but I'd rather not).
