hello
double check that it isn't something stupid like a bulb hoder on the reels isn't hitting the reel or that the wiring at the base of the reel isn't catching the reel as well.
it could be something like that because these reels are very reliable.
if it looks like there is absolutly nothing hitting the reel you can double check the wiring by swapping the faulty reel with reel 3 (unplug the reels on the little board at the back with the machine switched off and remember which ones you swapped)just follow the wires to the board so you know which reel is plugged into which plug.
if reel 2 still goes faulty then you either have a faulty reel interface board or the wiring has become faulty,if the reel that you moved into the different position has carried on with the fault then you know its definatly the reel at fault.

cheers baz..i took the wires that connet to the reels from the chip board behind the reels, swapping reel 2 to reel 3..then reel 3 started sticking, so it seems that its faulty wiring..thanks for your help bez
