Public service announcement, the players point of view....

Right then, lets get a few things straight shall we?

Machines play to a percentage, i hope that everyone on here knows that, i would think they do, but always best to check, so, no amount of knowledge will get away from the fact that if someone else has just taken a load out of a machine then it isn't gonna pay for a while and you will more often than not lose in it, because it has got to take a load of money back to be legally working to its set percentage as displayed on the case of the machine.

Next, practically all rips that are viewable to the general public on youtube now are old news by now, because of rechips

Just of the top of my head, hi/lo silver has had 2 rechips, one back at the end of last year to stop it offering skill cash until it is JP ready anyway, as it was a feature that could have previously been offered when it was ready to give any win, and the second rechip that started being done was earlier this year to make it roll a game over instead of stopping on the winline. Very few units left that are not rechipped by the 1st, if not both upgrades.

Dealwheel, rechipping started in about march time which means the machine autocollects £3 (if a 35 machine) instead of adding cash and boxes.

Really, anyone with their finger on the pulse would know that these things really are old news by now, and i suspect the reason why you are moaning about it is because you have either seen a newly uploaded video, or one that has just been set to public. Just because a video has just ben made public doesn't mean its new.

There are 2 vids of the dealwheel rip that have been up since january, they were just set to private, because its so rare to find a machine that the rips still work on now they are not secrets that are really worth keeping anymore, but you won't find them anyway, because they are named something totally different and have no search tags, so good luck!

There are far newer tricks for machines which work very well, that very few people know about and thats probably how it will stay, especially with the outbursts in the last thread on this subject, i doubt any player will give some of you any tips now, what with us all being theiving pikeys and everything.....

3 player golden game question??

13 May 2009 - 09:30 PM

This has to be my favourite emu of them all so massive thanks to the maker of it, good man!

I find that for me it runs better in 9.4 for some reason but that is probably because i have a crap computer.

Now, i don't know if the real ones have more than one setup or something, but i cant seem to get this to do the let em spin streak like the ones i have played do in real life do, no matter how many times i nudge out whistles for golden game, it just goes up for a fiver and dies every time i get the hold after nudge.

The only way i can get this to go is to ignore whistles for GG loads and then nudge in GG and it gives one big board (had 70 odd just now) and then the few £5 roll ins that hold afterwards meaning its the end.

Is it just me, and also, is there something i can change in the config to make it do the streak instead of the nudging in, as i like seeing the streaks more!

I will still always play it as its my number one emu, and number one real machine to play, as i cant be doing all these different machines with boards that you have to piss about going round and landing on game over or ? and all the features and what they all mean, i am quite happy with the low tech ones (plus they key as well :D)

So, is there more than one set for these, and if there is, can i change it somehow??

Thanks in advance, and sorry if its a stupid question, as im fairly new to machines.

Hello, Problem, MFME10_1a is caining my PC

22 February 2009 - 10:38 PM

Well, firstly, i would like to say hello and thankyou for this excellent site.

I was guided here by my good friend, the youtube legend that is buddylove4000, aka straekseims, without his guidance i would never have known about this place.

I am however having a slight problem using the MFME10_1a emulator.

I have only downloaded golden dragon and golden X deluxe so far, which both play well, although they play quite slowly, especially the golden X deluxe which plays very slowly. It takes about 5 seconds for each reel to finally roll in, (ding........ bomp.......................... bomp.............................. bomp)

I have checked the speeds in the configuration bit and its already set at 9999999. if i try any more 9s it crashes and freezes up.

I have also noticed that when the emulator is running, my CPU usage is up to 100% all the time, until i close the emulator.

Are there any sort of minimum system requirements to run these?? (im running XP SP3 and have a Pentium 4 2.53 ghz CPU, 1GB ram and a 512mb radeon hd2600 pro graphics card.)

It doesnt really matter that much but im just wondering if there is anything simple i could do to get it going at a more realistic speed.

Many thanks in advance, and again, thanks for this excellent resource!
