Recently I gained a free 'Spin and Tonic' Impulse/Maygay epoch based machine and kinda working, circa 2002.
Oddly, the Epoch side of things is fine, I've replaced the main board battery and intend keeping the machine alive as a donor-in-waiting for when my simpsons machine eventually dies.
Anyway, it never came with a 16 digit display (and the wiring for the display was missing from the loom as well). Assuming it was robbed before I got the machine, ironically the rest of the machine is complete and working.
Despite looking at epoch manuals I can't seem to find the basic answer.
Firstly, does the Spin n tonic, use the dot matrix 16L102DA4 or the normal 16LF01UA4 kind? Secondly, any idea where the actual display plugs into? Is it the reel board or epoch board etc?
I can then look for a suitable cable, based on that.
