I really feel for you meme,But the advice you are being given is spot on.The community has become accustomed to top quality layouts by the likes of vecs,tommy,pook,reg,dad etc if ive missed anyone out you know who you are :)include yourself.Don't lose heart all these designers started the same as you,its gonna take time and more time before you get it right,if you ever get it right that is,sorry to be a pessemist but keep at it,especially the cutting out bit,get that right and your further than you were before,a step in the right direction.good luck
