ok after a fair amount of play, its all working fine.

I've made a proper repair on the fuse holder, and all the new bulbs are installed, so full working order and playing spot on to set % after ~£600 in plays.

thanks for the pointers in here, its appreciated.

great, cheers for that. coincidentally thats who ive ordered my bulbs from, so good to know theyre recommended.

ive got a temp fix in place until i can attempt a proper repair on the fuse holder, not throwing anything else at me so time for a big test session :D

thanks for all the help, ill report on if its working properly after its had time switched on.

looks like the fuse holder for the 24v circuit has corroded, probably a new PSU im guessing, cos if the holder is this bad, the fitting on the PSU will be shot as well.

who do you recommend for replacements?

Is there anything plugged into the top left socket?

yes, got a bank of 8 dipswitches in it, also a bank of 4 in the socket below it.

i found a table giving settings on this link: http://www.swallowam.co.uk/pckey.php which has worked, playing as i want now.

getting an intermittent alarm now though, so my PSU repair might not have been as good a job as i thought..

it there a space for a % key?, you may need to buy a % key for that

If thats a block with dip switches attached to the main board, its got one already.

Generic MPU5 tech manual or Genesis cabinet literature should tell you most of the information you need.

right, ill hit google and see if i can find one then.

thanks for the help, ill report back later :D
