File Name: Vividfruit Sims: Block Party!

File Submitter: vividfruit

File Submitted: 03 Dec 2020

File Category: Simulations

I am happy to release my new sim Block Party! This is a pretty faithful clone of Party Games with a few changes to seperate it.

List of features:

Full Party Games style board complete with Kiss and Catch and Up the Ante features, plus a new Big Money feature.

Feature triggered randomly from any reel wins, plus retrigger chances when the feature ends.

3 Selectable block partiers (With more to come in future updates)

Let em Spin trick

Hold em Trick

I feel its worth noting that this sim does not do the nudge tricks like Party Games does.

Further updates plus a mobile version coming soon!

I tried uploading a file under Simulations on 03/12 and although its uploaded it seems to be stuck as I am the only one who can see it listed and the file listing has a reddish border around it.

Vividfruit Sims: Block Party! (Party Games Clone)

18 August 2020 - 06:41 PM

After a long break from the world of simulations im very happy to announce my latest sim, Block Party! I am taking my time with this one as im doing lots of animations and features as ive become rather fond of the project.

This is a clone of Party Games with a few extras and differences to make it a unique game instead of a pure clone. You can trigger the feature board off of any win from the reels and the board will have everything youd expect from a Party Games feature plus a few extra surprises. I plan on making 4 characters to start with, you'll be able to change your character any time during reel gameplay (Do ignore my test character, hes just a placeholder)

Planned stake and Jackpot is 50p a play and £70 Jackpot.

The screenshots ive provided are still from an early build and a lot may change between now and release. As im still fairly early in development I can not provide an accurate release date but any feedback/suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I may also be looking for Beta testers soon so let me know if youd be interested in helping out. I also need some sounds for the project so if anyone here is a sound designer do get in touch :)

New simulations

11 August 2020 - 03:46 PM

Hey just thought id make a quick post about simulation projects, I remember years back when I was first on here I wanted to make sims to replace things that were unemulatable at the time and was just wondering how people would feel about potential new sim releases? I have been working on a couple of new projects but nothing really got off the ground since the release of Two Fat Ladies. I shall list a few of the projects that I at least got the framework on plus a few ideas that I may work on if the interest is there. Let me know what you think and if there is enough interest I may pick up/start on a project :)

Projects I have started but by no means finished:

VF Arcade:

This is an ambitious one, the idea was to make a collection of games in one, focusing on community based 3 reelers such as Money Mad Martians, Rainbow Riches Party and Boogie Nights etc. I got the random wild pick feature working but kind of got overwhelmed with the project and stopped, the first game was going to be a sequel to Spectrum 7s known as Spectrum 7s: Neon Nights. Plenty of ideas for others too. I could fish out a screenshot for this but id have to dig out my old laptop for the project.

Star of the Show:

This was going to be a DOND replacement with a Price Is Right kind of theme. Cant see myself continuing this as DOND is now emulatable.

Cash Adders:

This was going to be a standard pub slot with 2 boards, a standard board and a snakes and ladders board. This game is in very early stages and I dropped it a while ago.

Projects I have not started but have considered:

A Party Games clone:

I have always loved playing Party Games at the arcades (As much as its rinsed me dry over the years) and would love to play it at home. This one has been a serious consideration for a long time

Casino Two Fat Ladies:

A simpler version of TFL were you trigger the bingo feature straight off the reels (No feature board) and get awarded a better streak for every line you win. I could probably do this somewhat quickly if the interest is there

Of course, if anyone has suggestions that havent been listed here then im all ears. Any feedback is appreciated and if there is enough interest ill happily start/continue a sim project :)
