Because they are a gambler????

I can see your point.

But because new machines are so boring, you might get your 'fix' from gambling for real, online on machines you used to play as a kid. It is fantasitic being able to play for fun, but what I am saying is that if people are prepared to play crap machines for real money www.willhill.com), why not machines that are fun and you have had many years of fun playing.

The technology is available and I know I would want to play the old £6, £8 machines for real online......Much better than a £50 000 jackpot on William Hill and I can play small stakes.

Or is it just me?

Sorry BB

What i am saying is why cant we play these emulated machines for real money £££

You pay via credit card or debit card, pay pal etc.

Surley it would catch on???????????

Obviously the manufacturers require a cut, but it would bring back some of the old boys and make some £££

I would want to be able to do this, would anyone else???

Thanks for the reply chaps.....

To emulate (as I understand it) you require 3 things:

1. Emulator - (who owns that then????)

2. Roms (if over 3 years old) - do manufacturers own the rights, even though you bought the machine?

3. Layout - whoever designed it!

So if you had all three's permission, you could simulate actual "retro" fruit machines online? Because the one's currently available are crap William Hill progressive jackpot ones and I want to relive my Youth on the classics...........

Anyone else feel the same?
