Well folks after aaamusements supplied me with the right part and after a bit of setup tinkering the machine is now back up and running correctly!

Thank you to all for your guidance and advice and to aaamusements for the correct part!

OK guys. Bumping this back up again. After an unsuccessful repair attempt I left the machine alone for a while.

Decided to get stuck back in to it again and I realised the new opto sensor I fitted has a different part number from the one that was originally fitted.

The one I'm after is an Omron 3239P2443t

I can only find US suppliers in stock that require a minimum $50 order plus about £15 postage!

Can anyone help!?

The band hasn't shifted. But what the computer thinks it's got it hasn't. If I am making sense?
