Hi guys.

I have a Costa del cash club and it has been working fine for years. Today I could smell burning and all the lamps had stopped working.

No fault alarms

All power supply fuses ok
Mpu5 shows no 34v
Mux5 shows green led
Machine works just no lights.

Cant find the source of the burning smell.....

Any ideas?

since selling my roller coaster i was itching for another machine so bagged a costa del cash club.

 

It came with the coin mech laying in the bottom and the previous owner has been playing it with the bottom door ajar on free play, worked fine like this for about an hour then the alpha display went out, i noticed there was some light bleeding in the top left corner but then nothing. If i reboot the machine it comes on and the alpha stays working for about 60 seconds then goes out.

 

I have ordered another alpha display (samsung 16LF01UA3) but im not that hopeful that this is the fault. 

 

Could it be the MUX5 board that drives it? there are no fault codes coming up and all the leds on the board are working fine showing no issues.

 

Machine is an MPU5 but the alpha is controlled by the MUX5 board 

 

I have checked the battery on the MPU5 and its fine and dandy with plenty of voltage

My fruity has a slight problem, its stopped paying out £1 coins and chooses to pay out from the 20p tube instead....

It started doing it the other day, when i put the machine in to test mode i can still dump £1 coins ok so i know the solenoid and tube are ok.

 

Any thoughts? ta 

I have checked the low coin sensor, well sort of checked it, its fitted in the right place and clicks ok.....

I got a load of tokens when I bought the machine but they are not the right ones.

Machine is a roller coaster dated 94-95

Think it needs 20p ones, I refuse to pay £1.99 for one on eBay.

Anyone know where to bag some?

Hi guys, you may have seen my last thread where I got myself my first fruity, a 95 jpm rollercoaster.

I sorted out a few dead bulbs and it has been working fine, I turned it on, had a little play on demo mode, turned my back for 5 minutes and the alarm went off, nothing showing on the display and no lights on.

Switched it off and on and the alarm went off again.

Now nothing, just a random pop from the speaker like its stuck in a boot loop

Main board led not lit

Any clues ?
