Anyone have a Maygay M1b Board??

21 August 2007 - 09:34 PM

Hi All

Just wondered whether anyone has a spare working Maygay M1b Board that they would be prepared to sell to me, or know anyone that could possibly fix my existing M1b Board.

I have a Club Stake Yer Claim machine made by Global which uses Maygay Technology - which unfortunately isn't working at present.

When the machine is switched on, strange characters appear on the alpha display, and some of the lights pulse every couple of seconds or so. That's all that happens. Reels don't even twitch, no sound whatoever, just doesn't want to boot. All LED's on the M1b board are lit except for the +12v, which I think is ok as I believe this doesn't lite up until the machine boots.

I have changed the power supply (which made no difference whatsoever) and also tried another program card (from my Eastenders machine) but made no difference either. I have also checked all connections time and time again.

I can therefore only assume that the M1b Board is faulty - but I could be wrong. I have searched previous threads and note that Battery Leakage is common with Maygay Boards, but to be honest I haven't noticed any so far, but will take a closer look in daylight tomorrow. I think it still has the original battery on it (is it Ni-cad?) but I undertsand that a Lithium Battery maybe better.

Please can anyone shed any light on this, as I have spent hours trying to fix it already, but have now cracked and seek advice from the professionals!!!

Many thanks in advance for any help / advice you can offer. ;)

Kind regards. John

Does anyone know where my sound has gone?

06 August 2007 - 07:17 PM

Hi All,

Please can anyone help me out.......

I have just come in from playing my Club Crazy Fruits Machine by BFM. It has been playing fine, but tonight, all of a sudden, the sound just went.

It was not a gradual disappearence or fade, - one credit it was there, the next it wasn't!!!

I have checked the connections to the speakers and they seem fine. Power Supply also seems ok, and all lights are lit on the scorpion board.

Apart from no sound, the machine still plays perfectly.

Hope someone on here can help me out as I'm sure you all know that the sound on this machine is the best thing about it.

Many thanks in advance for your help.

Part Required - Metal Pin for BFM Drop Down Door

24 June 2007 - 10:00 PM

Hi All

Apologies if this request sounds so trivial, but not having this part is proving to be really annoying.

On some Bellfruit Machines (Club Crazy Fruits for example), there is a drop down door which gives access to the reels etc. The locking mechanism each side of the door consists of a bar and sliding metal pin which slides into a bracket on the cabinet to lock the door closed. At the moment, I can only lock one side of the door, which although is ok (and the machine is still playable) it is far from ideal.

Just wondered whether anyone would have a spare metal pin? I have attached a photo of the bad boy in question.

Any help would be greatfully received.

Many thanks. :)

Apologies in advance for this begging request.....

Does anyone have or know where I can get hold of a Club Crazy Fruits Manual. (Bencrest - did you ever manage to scan and upload your copy? If so, can you direct me to where I can find it, or would you kindly be able to send me a copy).

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance. John
