What is the deal with this Machine?

We have the £150 10p play machine. We have literally pumped it and had nothing above £20.

It offers £8 from Cherries every £20 or so and sometimes lets you gamble it to £10.

It spins in 3 Cherries (20p) or 3 Oranges (40p) every now and again but even with a 4 or below or 9 and above will bust you EVERYTIME.

It showed no sign ofwanting to play, then suddenly spat out a jackpot to someone who rarely plays it.

For a Club machine, its probably the worst I have played.

Fruit Machine Laws? Please Help Quick!

In my local snooker club they have a club machine (Monty Pythons Flying Circus £100 5p play really good machine by the way i had £220 out last week!) anyway i went to play on it tonight and the steward behind the bar a complete t*at said i could not turn it on as it was after 11 0'clock! This was the first time i had ever heard of this law and i have played on bandits for years! I ended up getting into an argument with him and just want somebody to confirm if i am right or wrong?
