well im heading to the machine tomorrow, does anyone know what type of fuse are in the mux5 so i can bring them with me??

I notice on the listing it says excludes fuses, have you checked fuses?

 

havent checked the fuses, infact didnt even know they had any.. but in saying that it works for awhile and then goes error, so imo the fuses are ok? but will check before i go changing.. 

dont really want to take parts of the other machine, but if there cheap ill just pick one up.. even if its not the problem it will do for keep sake. is there anyone on here that i can sourse parts from? i take it the mux5 board is a light controller of some sort and a bit universal to the barcrest machines?

Hypnotic is Vivid MPU5 I think, pretty sure it's got a black and white swirly centre and a disc reel. 

 

I don't think your error code is listed in that manual but I'm *sure* I've seen it before. Is it giving a message after the error? It's rare for MPU5 to just show an alarm code and not give a message too!

 

Also, was it bought in this state, or has it been fully working until now and the error has just happened? Has the machine been in use frequently, or left switched off for ages?

 

hi, it was bought as is.. but worked fine, then had it off for about 4-5 months got it back up in running last 4-6 weeks but as above last 2 weeks it acting up.. 

 

yes its the right machine your on about (hypnotic) but that works fine its the bling king crazy giving trouble..

As far as I know it said 57 - 34 or 34 - 57. Then after that mux enb I think, I just reset the machine and it worked grand again but it happened twice in two weeks so problem still there, didn't really take note of the message as such as I thought the numbers were the important one's also i cleared the alarm log too so can't check them either.. Sorry for the info been all over the place as I'm sure you do be sick of repeating the simples to the noob's
