So im in the process of sorting bits on my Maygay machine & ive annoyingly got four/five bulb holders that will not work even if I change the bulbs holders to known working ones. The on bulb holders that work are yellow ones I bought on ebay but they dont follow the same sequence as the others and tend to stay stuck on the whole time... Looks a bit shit when your playing the main board. Ive tried replacing the main lamp board but that doesnt make a difference? The wiring looks fine and I dont want to keep messing about with the wires....

So I have a Maygay Mario Kart 64 fruit machine that Im having one or two issues with! 

 

So the power unit I think may have suffered with damp during the winter when I was storing the machine in my garage. I dried the power unit out in the house for months and then plugged it back into the machine... All fired up ok, or so I thought!

 

The machine turns on, but only the reel lights are working, and only very dimly. The Lamp driver board (pictured) looks ok? The Epoch (pictured) also looks OK, I think and the led's are lit, all bar one?

 

You can play the machine and it works fine and runs through the various programmes and allows you onto the Board, sounds is also fine but nothing is lighting up so you have no idea whats going on. I also noticed last night that one of the reels is slightly off now but Im not sure if that connected in anyway....

 

 Anyway, I have ordered a new lamp driver board to just test it but do you think its the power unit that failed?

My Maygay Mario Kart 64 machine was working fine up until December when I had to move it into the garage while I moved house. I left the power unit inside the machine which I think may have got damp as when I tried starting the machine it it was making a funny ticking noise, when I removed the power supply box a few of the green led remained lit for some time. I put the box in my airing cupboard to let it dry out and when I tried it yesterday the none of the lights other than the reel lights work but even they are dim, the sound and game works tho its just the lights.... Im not quite sure what to do now as im in two minds whether its the supply box or something else. Any advise would be appreciated and I can put up a video if needed to help show what the issue is.
