Loooking for tech manuals or dipswitch settings

Hi all,

I hope I am posting in the right forum header here but I would like to ask you the following:

I am looking for documentation like tech manuals and stuff on some fruitys (in electronic format preferrably) covering the following:

Barcrest MPU3 (since there is an MPU4 FSE there's bound to be one to cover the MPU3 :-))
JPM MPS 2 up to MPS 5 dipswitch settings, tech manuals
Maygay epoch1, epoch2 dipswitch settings or tech manuals

I am trying to collect as much as possible and store them in the database here on this forum and any other fruit emulation forum so others will have an easier task finding the right info.

Barcrest Error: A17 Hop Coinsens Alm

Hi all,

After playing around yesterday evening dumping some Euro coins in the hopper of my Barcrest Royal Jewels MPU4 in a Genesis cab I got the following error:

A17 Hop Coinsens Alm

with very irritating sound....so I reverted to my manual; removed all coins from the hopper, ensured all was in working order, cleaned the outgoing opto sensor with a dry cloth; switched on the machine...nope same error during initalization....took the whole hopper thing apart again, ensured all wires and plugs were connected; nothing wrong as far as I could see, but the error remains...messed about until 2 AM this morning...no luck yet.

How can I get rid of this error message without having to throw it out the window out of sheer frustration?

Can I go into Test Mode and remove the alarm message from there? Does that make any sense?

Parallel Interface cable Barcrest

Hi all,

As I have just bought a c435 coinmech on eBay for a couple of quid for my Barcrest Royal Jewels fruit machine I am wondering whether it needs a parallel interface cable between the mpu4 unit and the c435 or is the routing plug enough as it is? If you miss the parallel interface cable can you get one from a dealer and is this a fairly standard item or is there a difference in cable pin layout per game?

Looking for manual Barcrest Royal Jewels

Hi all,

I would like to request some information from yourselves, as I recently bought a Barcrest Royal Jewels fruit machine and I am unsure whether this has ever been available in the UK as a fruit machine or is it an export-only version. Anyways if this machine was also available in the UK, I am looking for someone who has a copy or can make a copy of the manual; as the one that I bought did not come with a manual; I resolved some issues already with the help of my friends in the Dutch forum (www.fruity.nl) but have no luck as yet finding a copy of the manual. If you can get your hands on it that would be fantastic. To give you an idea which machine I'm talking about, here's an attached pic.
