P1 and P2 Files, "What are they?"

Hi, ive downloaded a load of files of a newsgroup, all of them being zipped. Thats not really the problem but I dont know what to do with the P1 and P2 files. Ive tried using the Fruit Machine Emulator program pack and none of them play the files, zipped or extracted.
All I need to know is what to do with they. Are they layouts or ROMS or DX things. Please help me
