Hi David,

The way to test if this is your Power supply fully is by metering out your 5v under load - Buying another Power supply could just give you the same issues due to every supply being set up a touch different for every machine dependent on reels, lamps and extras.

But only use a meter if you know what your doing as you could cause more damage if not.

Did you adjust the 12v pot or 5v pot on your psu?

Best wishes

Stu.

I believe I adjusted the 12V pot.... it worked great for a long while......

A member for SEVEN years with TWO posts?

You now ask for advice.

Ady wonders where the 100 (simple to do) 'thank-you' posts for the creators of downloaded Emu's went? hmmmm

Hi, I wasn't really asking for any advice, just a few useful tips etc.... I haven't posted a lot on here it's true, but I have given helpful advice to help someone out before (something about the internet I think) In all the 7 years, I have changed operating systems which made it harder for me to play the emulators, but I still do when I can.

I do appreciate all that everyone does at Fruit-Emu, and have really enjoyed a lot of the layouts and machines people have put a lot of work into. So - I apologise for not showing my appreciation and I wish to THANK everyone for keeping this great website and it's machine's going!

Thankyou Taylor525 for your post!

You will not lose any speed from your broadband on the ethernet or the wireless G connection. Wireless G apparently runs at 54MB/s I have an E-machines laptop with wireless G and runs my 2MB broadband through a router, the chip runs at 2.5GHz so it's quick, It cost £649 from Dixons!!! and it's fantastic, has a 40GB HD 256MB RAM and a widescreen! 64MB 3D graphics card too... have a look at PC world/Dixons (UK) and see see what you can find.. Your Braodband connection wont even put a dent in your wireless connections bandwidth and will run at full speed, with ample headroom!
