Naughty but Nice WIP

11 September 2013 - 04:53 PM

This has already been emulated  and as such is not an exciting one here in the mist of some great WIPS and releases we have out there at the moment.

However I decided I wanted to DX this machine so may as well put it out there as a WIP regardless.

It's in extremely early days but I have stepped on some toes in the past with not making it vocal that I am working on something, so just a heads up.

Nothing to see really... but for anyone that's even somewhat interested I included a pic.

Barcrest - Stake Up - 1280 Pdx

21 September 2012 - 04:28 PM

Runs best in MFMEv3*

A fantastic and classic club machine from Barcrest. I'm sure I read this was the first Barcrest Clubber on MPU4.

Thanks to Stuart for lamp numbers from his old layout. I also had pictures to have reference from which I got a while back from one of the FME sites but I actually cannot remember for the life of me who uploaded them but, huge thanks to you!

Stuarts layout had a nice description of how the machine plays which is worth adding also as it is a bit unusual:

Bit of an odd machine. Using the 'Stake Up' button gives you the chance to move across to the x2 and x4 win tables,
but if you lose a credit is taken without even spinning the reels.

7 consecutive loses (and that's without getting to x2 at all) gives entry to the cash trail.

Moving across to x2 and x4 frequently results in holds / feature holds that were not previously offered - including
having enough numbers to hold to guarantee trail fill.

Filling the Bonus Leap column awards the cash trail - you are started at either £1 £2 or £4 depending on whether
you were on x1, x2 or x4 at the time the award was given.

If you get more than about 1/2 way up each trail simultaneously, enough red numbers are often thrown in to award
nudges.

Well, may as well get this out there as a WIP. Still a lot to do but, coming along nicely.

Here is my 1280 PDX of Fruit Link Club by Barcest. Runs best in MFMEv3*

Please note 90% of this was a complete re-draw so for the eagle eyed and enthusiasts out there, don't expect it to be pixel perfect to the original.

Big thanks go to Bugs and Trouty for the lamp numbers I stole from their classic. Also Vectra666 and Ricardo de ponsa for testing. Also to Ady for being the usual gent he is and allowing me to release this while he continues to work on his version. I look forward to playing that which will more be authentic and be based from the flyer and photos of the machine.

As always, any problems, let me know and I will try to get them sorted for you asap.

EDIT: I should note there seems to be a slight problem with the sounds on these roms. I've tried the only two version we seem to have, so all I can assume is that it was a problem when they got dumped. Unless anyone can shed any light on this.

A 1280 WDX of BWB's Heaven and Hell. First off please let me apologise for the quality of the DX, I had some nice artwork for this machine many years ago, but unfortunately I had since lost everything. The only remains I had was a reduced size jpg of the machine. I have tried to clear it up, and for now, until something better turns up, this will just about do the job I hope.

Big thanks to Vectra666 for testing this for me.

Runs in MFME v3*
