Well its been a good few weeks now and i must admit i feel a lot better than usual

Havn't been in an arcade, i can now actually walk past one easily, don't even need to glance in or anything, just "walk on by" and ignore the flashy lights asking for your money...

Had a few quid in the machines in the pubs when i've been out but purely for fun and no more than like £5 or so after a couple of drinks which is fine in my view.

It helps i have my own machines now, got the first 2 Italian job fruities, the first set at £5 which i am selling on ebay as we speak (anyone interested check it out! user: mikeyboy2k4) - Once youve put a few hundred in at home you soon realise how much they rip you off!! :roll:

Anyway i just want to say thanks to everyone who's replied to this thread - what a friendly bunch

I used to go to pubs several times a week, and just whack coin after coin into the machines on my own. How sad i must have looked :-?

Anyways you realise just how bad it is when you think to yourself after leaving the pub "its only £30" and try to shrug it off... And when your skint as anything like i am at the moment until next payday every pound counts, i'm now thinking in terms of 50p for a nice cold can of coke at work on a hot day. I'd rather buy a couple of cans for myself and my department than put it in a frigin fruity anyday...

But its ok because it's only the odd quid here and there from now on really :oops: Honest...

It's strange because even if you do win... you have a pocket full of pound coins... what are you going to do... go and spend it on something worthwhile or wonder around during that day and spend it n other machines? I know which i do! Even if i go to change it up at the bar the barmaids there giving it "oh i dont know if we have enough..." obviously just so i am tempted to whack it back in the machines... typical :roll:

I think as people say you have to WANT to give up, i don't... i know its sad but i get pleasure from playing and as someone said if you dont mind losing and dont EXPECT TO WIN then you'r ok i recken, aslong as your not silly with it all

Time will tell i suppose but i agree its incredible when you think of the amount of money that you shove in the fruities.

What gets me is the fact how shitty £5 JP ones are... i mean £4 a board for a £5 JP? :-? Wheres the fun?! If they were playable you could have a great time in arcades playing on the like of homers meltdown etc etc

Im new here, well not posted before really neway.

Erm before you go forcing you need to know how much is in the machine... and how do you know that i hear you ask...

Well simply press the FOUR buttons left of the far right one (does that makes sense?) and hit one of the ones on the feature board while holding these down and on the alpha it'll tell you the 1pnd hopper balance
