Barcrest Rainbow Riches Fruit Machine £70 Jackpot For Sale

08 February 2015 - 07:10 PM

Hi all,

I fancy a change of machine so am hoping someone may like to buy my Rainbow Riches fruit machine.

It's the classic reel type with 3 layers of feature trail (similar to Rob Da Bank/Star Wars A New Hope)

Set on £70 Jackpot with 25p/50p/£1 per play (think the £35 decals are in there somewhere)

In great condition for it's age has note acceptor fitted, comes with all keys, manual etc.

Has had a coin mech error in the past but this now seems fine - cleaned mech etc which sorted it!

Looking for £150 ovno.

Cash on collection only from the SE12 area (near Bromley)

Great fun machine to play (indoors anyway!) and I am reluctant to sell but I am only allowed one at a time in our house by my lovely wife!

Please PM me for further info or if you are interested in buying!

Many thanks,

;)

A Little Help If Possible Please!

28 February 2012 - 07:33 PM

Hello all,

Hope you are all well ;)

This one maybe for the technical and service type gurus amongst you...

Got a Barcrest Horizon cab and the audio picks up interference from the lighting circuit.
Not all the time but certainly when there is a lot of lights on (especially in attract mode). And it is bloomin' annoying...

Now I did read somewhere it could be a psu issue - so swapped the psu with a known good one and the same thing happens...

The previous owner of the machine has gaffer taped the audio cable loom to the wiring loom for the coin mech - could this be the problem? Bit daft to do this if you ask me....

But I am daft and that's why I am asking your expertise!

Hope some marvellously talented expert can help me.

Thank you in advance and have a nice evening...

Scorpion 5 - A Technical Conundrum!

29 January 2011 - 09:28 AM

Hi Guys & Girls,

Here is an interesting conundrum for all the boffins out there!

I have a Bell Fruit Scorpion 5 machine with a NV10 note acceptor - everything works fine apart from after about 5-10 mins play the machine forgets it has a note acceptor attached.
Open a door and a note mech fault appears on the alpha.
Re-boot and everything is fine.

I swapped the note acceptor - same fault.
So could this be a problem with the Scorpion 5 board or power supply? No other problems manifest themselves... Just the note acceptor.

I've had loads of Barcrest MPU4 and MPU5 machines in the past and had no problems.

This Bell Fruit has been a bag of poo from day one!

I appreciate any help/assistance in this matter from any techie people out there.

Thank you for taking time to read my post and have a great weekend.
