Why do people rave about Partytime?

Hi, just got back from arcade (don't go in many now!!) and it was completely full of Partytime (and clones) machines, with the exception of Monopoly and Trick Shot. Is that a pile of pants or what? :-(
Anyway that's the rant over! However was quite impressed with Trick Shot as it was actually kinda fun to play, with cool video screen to play on as well! And it payed out ok which most of the Partytime's didn't seem too
