A few more; still nothing world-beating though.

The buttons and cabinet are the same as Ploggy's Hotpot.

Practically the whole bottom half is too. The superhold seems the only difference.

Hi there,

I own the machine, Drop the lot.

I can do you some pictures if you like. Tell me what you need.

Smudge.

WOW - Fantastic!! So there is someone on here who own one :bigeyes10:

Pictures are fantastic, and very much appreciated, thank you!!

Nice to see again after so many years. A DX of this is high on a lot of peoples' wish lists. I much prefer DTL to Hotpot and always have. Not sure why as they are almost identical. I have to agree, I think the only difference is the Superhold.

Whereabouts are you by the way Smudge??

Can't believe that someone still has one of these. Just goes to show what FME jewels are still out there.

They're practically the same machine, except for the Superhold like you said.

Wouldn't mind getting a layout done for this myself. MPS2 is my main tech as far as fruit machines are concerned.

I've looked at the pictures you provided, and with a bit of work, they maybe be of use for DXing purposes.

Can you get a few more pictures of the top glass, mate? Get close in on the top, at a slight angle to the left so there isn't any flashburn.

The darker ones you provided earlier in the thread are the kind of pictures I am after.

Will give it a try.

The ones in the second post are a bit poor, looking at them.

Most of the ones in the first post were taken when it was in a different, better lit room.

Could you let me know the number of the pictures I've done so far that can be used so that I can try to replicate them.

Also, exactly the angles that you want.

Hi Smudge , Drop 7 8 10 11 and 12 are the best of the bunch (Basically The Darker Ones), If you could replicate those ones that would be great ..(EDIT Just realised i may of renumbered those pics lol . Well the darker set m8)

:)

Aslong as the pics are sharp thats the main hurdle , As Ploggy says take them from a slight angle to avoid Flashout plz , Its easier to skew the pic back around in photshop than to correct Flash Marks ..

Cheers Smudge Hope thats ok

Look forward to your David Bailey Moments ;)

Funnily enough it was until today.

Just tried it. Literally haven't switched it on for about five or six years. It worked fine for about five minutes, then went strange, wouldn't 'fire up'.

It's always had a buzz in the background that it shouldn't. Don't know why it's not working now.

Got it about '89 I think. It's worked fine...until now. Strange.

Bang on the money, mate. :)

They're exactly how I wanted them. Now another classic can get some FME clothes put on, at last.

If you are still having problems getting the machine to work properly, I would suggest asking for help at the Mecca.

The guys there know their stuff, and will help you out no problem.

Huge thanks again for the pictures. :)

Right. I've got the machine neally ready for Dxing. I'm going to start a WIP over on the Mecca, then here.

So, if you want to get a 1280 out there, mate, go right ahead. :)

I'll be doing a 1600, like usual.

If it's been standing for five or so years, the battery has probably leaked and corroded the surrounding tracks & components. Probably the most common cause of death for MPS boards, but fixable. Does the machine have an MPS1 or 2 board installed?

Thanks for the great pics BTW! :D

Looking very nice, mate. No worries about the cab. :)

You can nick the reels too if you like. I haven't tried the reels from Hotpot on this yet. Can you tell me if the two machines have got the same reel order?

Will make it easier if they are.

Cheers Ploggy ,
Now heres the puzzler as TTX pointed out earlier in this thread the plums appear as oranges in the Drop The lot machine.

Not sure which is right the Hotpot reels or the Drop the lot reels or weather there both right in each machine if you get what i mean .

Apart from that there the same ..

I would put 10/1, on, that the Hotpot reels are correct for both of the machines.

The pictures supplied by Smudge shows where the plums, oranges and cherries go, which are the same as Hotpot.

If that's case, all you need to do is save out the bands from Hotpot, and put them in DTL.

Or just use these instead. ;)

The emulation pics look pretty amazing.

It's going to be weird playing the machine on the computer.

If there's anything else I can help with, just ask.

I think I left the machine too long this time. It's like if you put a TV on after five years. It worked until it got hot and then went wrong.

I'll find out if it can be repaired.

Smudge

P.S. Wasn't there a 'deluxe' version of this machine with a four pound jackpot, like Moneygame deluxe? I wonder if one of those still exists.
