can any body help i have a impulse high voltage and it has died on me in middle of feature game power is still going to board but nothing is happening. plz help

check all fuses in the power supply. check all connections


try resetting the machine and if it does it again then i would say u have a faulty power supply unit

servicing a machine doesn't guarantee it wont break ever again. It means that it worked then. Also its an epoch so expect psu problems.

purple platium epoch machine 2000 by impluse same as duff sparter clones it was a machine that was in the middle once impulse had finish using the old vision or apollo cabnet ( sparter cash Impulse) then (high voltage Impulse) (Duff Beer Guide maygay) now aka Gaybar thats maygay and barcrest to you

do check the psu lights and the ones on the epoch 1 led should be out of the 4 or 5 .willing to be stand corrected on that

all lights on the power supply should be lit up(not just dim!!) and all but 1 light on the mpu should be lit up.

the board i have been looking at has epoch written on it i take it this is not the psu. so question which one is??? is it the board that is attached to case door??

open the bottom door and the metal box with leads plugging into it is the power supply,check that all of these lights are on.

all lights are lit bright i tried resetting the machine again and this time it started fine then coin slot bulb started flashing and buzzing so think i have a short on 1 of looms but to complex for me will try to get a sparky to trace? cheers for help..

turn the machine off and disconnect the leads going into the coin mech and then power the machine up.

let me know what happens.

no change baz just buzzes only light on is coin slot which is pulsing when machine switched off bank screen flashes up ????????????? then makes a noise like vzzzt if that makes any sense
