Anyone else having a problem with this..when i click favs and goto the homepage on here it loads the header bar only and seems to stick on the grey screen for what seems like moons and navigating the site seems a lot slower as well.
All my other web pages load ok..Its not a biggie just thought id mention it in passing see if anyone else was havin the same probs or incase the server has blown up or summat

yeah im having the same prob but i thought it was down to crappy IE 7, though when it has loaded all the other pages load pretty fast.

Been pretty poor here too, I put it down to the Adult sites lol.
Not see Duplu or Wozza around for a few days...something sure need looking into.

Homepage at first time takes about 10 second grey screen, and then gets into life. But everything else is absolutely fine at my end...And this is a 7 year old windows 98!!!
This is a site for EMULATION purposes of older machines. Not playing strategies.

Same problem here also using BOTH Firefox v2 & IE7. Also The Mecca is doing exactly the same..... makes me wonder if both sites are having issues with their data bases.

Mecca is OK for me, but this place has been bad for ages. Sometimes I just get the header and it hangs - If I refresh a few times it evetually loads. Other times it fine.
I reckon its something to do with the advertising on the site. I can understand why its here, but its bloody annoying!!

Anyone else noticed the site running wierd in your browser the last wee while ?
The green loading bar stays there all the time and ye get the (1 item remaning) Opening page http:// whatever it may be.
Might just be my spectrum playing up again..anyone else had the same prob ?

The loading of pages is just as bead as ever.
It has been on this site for quite a few weeks now, and it still isn't any better, even though ady said a couple of posts ago that it is better for him. I am afraid it isn't for me - is it the same slow loading of pages for anyone else still?

Nope Daryl...It's the exact opposite for me. The rest of the internet has been a complete bastard for me (using Orange) these last 3 days but this site has run like a dream compared to the rest of the www. Not sure what's going on.
Sounds like you may have an issue with your browser. Not had any problems with Fruit-Emu.
Oh...and Ady's post was made in JANUARY!!!...lol....

Nothing wrong with the actual browsing speed of this site in itself..thats just fine..its this bit at the bottom thats a problem although not a big problem as im losing no sleep over it..Just wanted to know what wasnt "done" ??

Anyone with speed problems then either switch to Firefox from IE or if you have to use IE then clear your cache. Sometimes if the site gets stuck at the header then it is to do with the moregamers link on the left not loading because of their servers.

Actually, since writing my last post, Fruit Emu loads straightaway, and I haven't had to clear my cache on IE or switch to FireFox.
