Hi,
Every now and then I get this message MUX Alarm 54-25 (MUX Not Reset)
Whats wrong? Can this be resolved?

damn you got some problems with this machine!!!!
its either the mpu or mux board(the board thats attached to the top glass of the machine)thats at fault.

its most certain its the mux board itself. as when i have changed the mux boards on machines in the past its been the mux boards that are faulty
and i don't have a spare. maybe baz would sort u out with 1

Well, its only happened twice and i've had it a few months, and its 7 years old.
Whats causes such a problem?

Im just trying to get it back to its propper state!
I looked through the Alarm Log, looks like it used to happen when it was on site!

sounds stilly check the fuses,check the barbus line thats the red plug that runs from the psu to mpu5,reels then the main output unit which is the mux5 and how many have you got 1 or 2
is the status led running ok give me your mpu5 status led code ie 3green 1 red flashes
some faults may be done due to oxydies pins from the barbus if this is the case while the power is off use a bit of sand paper or a nail file dont know what your misses may think but this can help if this is the problem a quick rub around the pins
other bad ram from a spike in the mains /turning the machine on and off to quickly the data from the prom/game card was traped before finishing it execution to ram
restitting the prom/game card

Thanks all, I will try this, the MUX Status light is always green, although, when 1st turned on, it goes red for a sec then green then green always... it may be a self test?
