Let me guess... You want to cheat the cash out of the JPMs :)
I think this is purely on JPM group brands running on Impact tech. Open the back door and when machine is loaded pres test until you hear the cash registger. On other machines it is the same, but will not go onto a special cheat mode.

check backdoor button (tick in the box)
then press test button, on some layouts you have to press test twice etc...

Hey, hang on all.

He asked a serious question, so he deserves a reasonable answer.

Firstly - do you mean Test or Demo mode?

Test Mode - allows you to test all lamps, buttons, coins, e.t.c.
Demo Mode - lets you play the machine in 'freeplay', manipulate the reels, e.t.c.

For most machines, you get into Demo mode, you simply need to open a door and press the Start button / spacebar. If that does nothing, try pressing 'Test' once. If that adds some credits, you are now in Demo mode. If that worked, and you want Test mode, press 'Test' again.

On some of the recent JPMs, you will need to either add, or tick, a checkbox, whos number escapes me [something like 53], as they added an extra Test Button to the machines.

If you still have problems, let us know which machines you have problems with, and I'm sure someone can help.

So can you play freeplay on all techs?
I'd like to know too.
When it comes to this, I'm a noob, but I'll never be a mod if I don't know.
